You're Going to Love This!

Glad you found us. We're conducting a series of FREE art therapy classes in conjunction with the Yoakum County Connection. These classes are intended to introduce you to the world of art therapy to help you evaluate art therapy's potential value in your life.

There are six classes being held on consecutive fridays from 6-8PM, between now and the end of March. Attend one or attend them all, just sign up for the next available date and that enrolls you for all of the remaining classes if you choose to attend them. They'll be held at First Assembly of God Fellowship Hall at 602 E. Broadway St, Denver City, TX 79323.

So pick the class, or classes, that work best for you and your schedule and fill in the registration form below. We'll be in touch with additional details as needed, otherwise we'll see you at First Assembly Fellowship Hall on your chosen date!

Coming Soon! Public Art Show-Late Spring

There will be a public art show open to the public that will be held in late spring. The date will be announced closer to the event.

There will be three categories that people can enter to participate in the art show:

  • Fine Arts/Digital Arts
  • Creative Writing
  • Performing arts (must submit a video of what will be performed)

Art Therapy Psychoeducational Group

I understand that by signing this form, I am participating in a psychoeducation group about art therapy and the benefits of art therapy. This group is not actually a psychotherapy group, and I am not a client of Hope Harbor Counseling. These classes will help me determine if art therapy is something in which I would like to participate in the future.

Group Participation Agreement

To gain a full understanding of the benefits of how the creative arts can be used for therapeutic purposes, it takes participation and engagement in the psychoeducational process. We will be offering these free classes for educational purposes only. Should you decide that you might benefit from participation in art therapy, you will be given information at the end of the classes on how to register as a client. There is no obligation on your part to become a client of Hope Harbor.

Confidentiality of Information Acknowledgement

I understand that any information that is disclosed to me by other participants while I am participating in the art therapy psychoeducational classes is confidential. I will not make any disclosure of such information without the written consent of the person to whom the information pertains.

By signing this form, I am acknowledging that these classes are for educational purposes only and I am not receiving therapeutic services as a client of Hope Harbor Counseling. I further agree to keep all information that is shared within the classes confidential.
